WOW You have been busy. Sounds great and looks very cool. Diane you are such a giving person so full of life I understand why Red loved you so. I know that all of your friends feel the same way. You keep looking ahead and sharing the vision.

Les-what year did you and Red write the song Fishin' Not Catchin'? and we'll have to get together and talk about some of the other songs. I'll be at the Georgia house next week, my sons and I are going up to paint the house !
Traveling mercies Lissa, I'll be in New England end of June for a seminar, will you be around;)?
Peace and smiles to all,

Dear Mike,
I remember the last phone conversation Red had with you, standing outside his workshop, laughing and talking about the guitar he was building for you. He was so excited about his plans, building guitars, playing at the Hogs Breath, playing at Petrellos (the local restaurant in Trenton) and spending more time living a "normal" life.

There's no doubt in my mind, he is still here with us, perhaps as a guardian angel, perhaps, just to remind us to live life to it's fullest. The lyrics I will be publishing of his original songs (which he NEVER performed in public) are so inspiring, on how to live life...
Rock on Red-and rock on Everyone,
Peace and Smiles, Diane

My buddy Red,

I think about you often. Our friendship ended way too soon. You see, I had plans that you never knew about. You inspired me to pick up the guitar again after a 20 year lay off. When we met years ago at the Island Grill we knew we had a lot in common. Music, horses, flying, fishing, faith, laughing and love of life, just to name a few. The plans you shared about slowing down from the "road" life a little and building custom guitars set me to thinking. I ain't gettin younger either. Thanks for building me the first guitar. You're madolin is in good hands as well as it has a permanent home with me. I plan to continue your guitar building dream and am starting the foundation this June. I have enrolled in Luthier school in Atlanta and have already started setting up the shop. You would like the spot as the shop is located in Tifton GA at our farm. Putting the finishing touches on your guitar will be the first order of business. See you soon my friend.

We miss his smile, we miss his amazing fiddle playing. We too consider ourselves lucky to have heard him play but it ended too soon. Red may have passed on but he will never be forgotten. He really was one of life's nice guys - Diane your loss is felt by all of us.

Take care.

A great big THANK YOU to all who are posting. It doesn't seem possible that Red really is gone, and it has been 5 months now. Words cannot describe how much I miss him. I have learned so much about grieving, it's a process I have never had to understand, until now.

I feel so blessed to have his music to listen to when I am lonely, and his fans and friends for support.

I don't think I met you MT, I only knew the woman who played with Terry Cassidy. I am sorry Red didn't get to play on your CD.

As one of his Key Largo fans put it, I feel sorry for the people who never got to see him play. We were so lucky to know Red, not because he was a great musician but he was a great human being.
Thanks for all your love and good wishes.
Pacefully yours, Diane

My husband and I had the honor of seeing Red and Bruce at Hog's Breath on vacation in Key West for our 15 year anniversary. We just loved them and came back every night. We bought their CDs and even corresponded by email after we came home. We were so sorry to hear about his passing. Great job with this website and putting his music out!

I only had the pleasure of seeing Red (with Bruce) in Key West a couple of times but had a great time when I did. Sitting at the raw bar at the Hog, sippin Red Stripes and listening to the artistry of the two was some of the most wonderful times I've spent anywhere. Gonna miss Red a lot.

thanks heidi,
glad to know my curly head comes up with a few good ideas ! Yes this site is for Red's Music and what will be done with the money made from the music sales; The Red Foundation in the mountains of Georgia where musicians, and other good people, will be able to go for fun, for relaxation and for old age. Red and I dreamed it could be possible, and just because he has gone to another dimension doesn't mean he can't still help me achieve our dreams:)
Peace to everyone, Diane

Thanks for your kind words, Marty and you too, KWI. I am going to post some news to the "news" portion so y'all know what is happening with the mountain house, Red's original music, and future releases.reparing to release.
As Red always said, if you love what you are doing you never work a day in your life. And I love promoting great music, especially my loving husband's.
Peace to light to all, Love, Diane
